Lexiconjure
A downloadable game
What if Minecraft and Scrabble had a baby? That's what I had in mind for Lexiconjure. Build words, make your way to the top of a 3D puzzle, and collect the golden block. Try out the demo and let me know what you think!
I'm working on an in-game tutorial. But in the meantime, here are the controls:
- WASD: move
- Spacebar: jump
- 0-9 and mouse wheel: select letter, or wand, in inventory
- Left click: place selected letter, or complete word (when using the wand)
- Right click: destroy pending word (when using the wand)

I like it! The presentation is pleasant and it's fun to build and jump about!
I did quickly soft-lock myself, though - maybe making the letters from "failed" words fall to the ground or auto-return to your hand would help.
Is there something working behind the scenes to ensure there's a valid word in-hand, or is it pure chance? (Keep in mind I'm not particularly skilled at word games :P )
